Noah is an adorable cat with a beautiful sleek, thick jet black coat and is between one and 2 years old. Noah is very affectionate and loves to be pet, get in your lap, knead, and give head bumps. He has the cutest little meow and when he is really excited to see you will talk to you. Noah loves to play. Fluffy mice are his favorite. He also loves to play with a feather or niko fly on a string. Noah loves catnip and it is so fun to watch his antics with it. Noah is a super sweet and gentle boy. He would most likely be fine with another friendly cat with a slow introduction and would probably appreciate a playmate. So what is the catch you ask? Well, you will need to give Noah time, patience and love before you will see the real Noah. Noah lived his first year around people at an apartment complex but had no home or physical interaction with them so he is fearful of new people and it takes time to earn his trust. He joined a feral colony after leaving the apartments and though he was picked on by the other cats he was always very sweet to them. He also would approach the caregivers but was afraid if they tried to pet him. Noah was trapped and his trapper had a strong sense he would want to be a pet so she worked with him. It took about 4 weeks for him to show without a doubt he loved being a pampered pet. It took another 4 weeks for him to be completely comfortable and to start playing, staying out in his room, lying in the window and meowing at the door for his foster mom. Noah will need a quiet home with a cat savvy person and to start in a room of his own while his new person gains his trust. Be prepared to give him about 2 months but it may not take this long because he seems to be gaining trust with his foster dad in shorter time. There is nothing as wonderful as gaining the trust of these shy cats. Noah will reward you with an amazingly strong bond. He will appreciate everything he has. He is so happy to be safe, loved and in a warm house. He will be a wonderful and loving companion if just given some time to get comfortable. Take a look at his video. Could you be the special person to give this special boy his forever home?
