Ninja was a stray found in Waterloo, Iowa with her 4 babies. WPR took them in and all of her babies have been adopted. Ninja is up to date on shots, tested FeLV / FIV negative, and was spayed on 10/21/5. She is living in a foster home.
Ninja is about a year old as of September 2015. She is friendly. She likes to be held, she is such a sweetheart.
2/9/17 UPDATE: Ninja is about 2-1/2-years old now. She is a total sweetheart and would love a forever home.
2/20/18 UPDATE Good in a home with other cats most the time. She might actually be best in a home where she is the only cat. Older kind children would be ok. We also think if given time and proper introductions, she would be ok with dogs too.
7/13/18 UPDATE: Ninja is such a nice cat. Very cute and loves to cuddle with people. We are very impressed with her! I cannot believe she has not been adopted yet. She is a great cat.
10/3/19 UPDATE: Ninja is very sweet. She uses her claws on a scratching post. She's never bit me in all the time I have been fostering her. She doesn't mind being picked up but she'd rather come to you and jump on your lap. She does not have any known medical issues. She sees a vet once a year and is healthy. She's not real active unless you're playing with her. She prefers to hang out and also nap. She is very paid back. She is a smaller cat, no more than 7 or eight pounds.
Will someone please adopt Ninja and give her a forever home? $95.00 adoption fee.

WE ARE A NO-KILL 501-C-3 NON-PROFIT RESCUE. All donations are tax deductible. We do not have a shelter. All pets live in foster homes. We only adopt to indoor homes. To see an animal, you must fill out an application first and then once approved, we can set up for you to meet the animal you are interested in. We do background checks on all applicants. If you have assault, domestic abuse, or drug charges please do not apply. If you have questions, please send an email to waverlypetrescue@mchsi.com
All animals see a vet for shots and normal exams. If they appear healthy and there are no obvious health concerns, then extensive testing is not done. This is normal procedure for pet rescues and shelters.
Waverly Pet Rescue puts a lot of money into medical care for each dog and cat we take in. $200 is the average cost for basic care. This does not include if the animal had an injury, required extra flea / ear mite treatments, or needed extra days at the vet office.
