Meet Nimueh
Hello, my name is Nimueh (pronounced Nim - Mey). I am 7 months old. I’m a pretty girl that had a hard start in life. I was brought in as an orphan when I was a wee kitty. The shelter took good care of me but as I got older my chances of getting adopted in the shelter lessened. But things got much better when TAR came into my life. They didn’t see an age or # but just a pretty kitty like me who needs a home.
I’m in a foster home now and at first I was scared but my foster Mom is so kind and lets me come to her on my own time. It was a short time when I came around and thought “it’s silly to be scared - it’s nice here!”
I not only gained some #s but I learned something called confidence. I was kinda scared when I first came out of the shelter but my foster Mom just lets me chill and in no time I am part of the gang. Sometimes the other cats or that nosy dog bug me, I give them a kitty hiss and resume my favorite spot - near my foster Mom.
I like it that she works from home and I get to sit by her feet. I sometimes take over her chair when she steps away. Maybe I am trying to help her work as a thank you for taking good care of me. But I can't read so working on her computer is not easy. So I resort to what I know best - being cute!
When my foster Mom holds me she tells me secrets. She said there’s a family out there that is going to love me forever. They will hold me like she does and when that happens I’ll do the same - give tiny purrs. I might be scared but please give me time. There’s a dog here and some other cats. I rather hang out with my foster Mom than the furries.
So what do you think? You ready to meet me? My foster Mom says you need to complete an adoption application to get things started. Let’s do that today! Kisses, Nimueh
