Nikki was a stray that would show up at the shelter on and off for about half the year. When the weather started to get colder she was at the shelter every night looking for food. Staff started feeding her and worked on slowly gaining her trust until one day, after many weeks, she let us pet her! We noticed she was already ear tipped, meaning she was apart of TNR (Trap, Neuter, Release), and she even had thumbs! Staff then came up with a plan to trap her and get her inside before the weather started getting too cold. Nikki is estimated to be 2 years old and is still weary of strangers. She will run if you move too fast but she is acclimating well to being inside and is such a love bug once she gets comfortable with you! We believe she would do best in a home that will give her the time and attention she needs to fully come out of her shell.
NIkki is spayed, up to date on shots, microchipped and has tested negative for FELV/FIV.
