Meet Newman

Newman has had a hard life. He was neglected for years, until he was surrendered to the shelter because his owners had too many pets. He was covered in ear mites, fleas, had a kitty cold, and his hair was terribly matted. He had to be shaved down and put on medication. The shelter almost euthanized him, but they let us transport him to our rescue. He is an amazing cat, and we can't believe his family didn't take care of him. He loves food, cuddling, and even some playing. He is an old grumpy-faced boy that was recently diagnosed with stage 2 kidney disease, so he requires a special diet. He would be the perfect pet for someone that lives alone and is looking for a constant companion, as he could cuddle ALL day.
