Nessa Domestic Short Hair Enfield, CT

Nessa was found as a stray and fed by a senior woman for the past eight years. She lived outside having multiple litters every year.
The senior woman caring for her out near Bridgeport, Connecticut fell ill and could no longer feed this sweet girl who relied on her daily for meals.

How could we say no to an eight-year-old beautiful cat who was also pregnant at the time? So we took her into the rescue.
She was a fantastic mama even in her older years in life to her litter of 5. All of her kittens have gone home, Nessa has now been spayed, vaccinated and she has tested negative for feline aids and leukemia and is on the search for her own home.

Nessa is used to getting daily interactions with the woman who is feeding her but not necessarily living in a home with a regular noises.

This eight-year-old girl would prefer to be in a home with not a lot of loud noises and she is not dog friendly. I can’t blame her as a cat who needed to fend for herself. Dogs were probably seen as an enemy and a risk to her. She does great with other cats and after sometime,sweet words, wet food bribery, love and affection, she is a very loving girl who enjoys head scratches.
