It took me months to allow these humans a scrap of my attention, but let’s just say I’ve started humoring them—at least while they’re watching their strange glowing box in the evenings. I’ll hop up, let them scratch me for a bit, then it’s time to take my leave. Much like my namesake from Little House on the Prairie, I am a cat of particular standards. I know precisely what I want and exactly how I expect it, thank you very much. And if something doesn’t suit me, well, you’ll know. I may have been born to the wild, but now I’m a creature of my own, and the world—at least, my cozy corner of it—falls nicely into line.
