Meet Nefertari

Nefertari is a senior gal of about 11- 12 years. She has remained dignified throughout her ordeal of being surrendered, adopted and then returned to the shelter once more. She sits quietly on her shelf and might offer a quiet meow of greeting. Sometimes she will come over to the couch and ask for a bit of loving... and if you stop before she feels it is time, she will give a gentle nudge with her pay so you keep on petting her.
Nefertari has some arthritis and doesn't get up to too much activity. She just wants a few cosy little nests to snooze away her time. Nefertari has had a few periods where she was a reluctant eater, but currently she is eating well after recovering from a recent dental. When Nefertari was in her previous foster home, she was very diligent with her litter box, until she became ill with a cold and then she started having some mishaps. Since she has returned to the shelter, we don't believe she is continuing this behaviour.
This sweet gal is longing for a nice quiet forever home of her own for her retirement years.
