Her heart is failing and our hearts are breaking?

Nala arrived at the shelter in rough shape, covered in fleas, difficulty breathing and barely able to move as an owner surrender. She was immediately taken to the vet where it was determined that Nala was suffering from flea anemia, pesticide toxicity, constipation caused by swallowing her food whole because of bad teeth and a severe heart murmur. This precious little girl is suffering from congestive heart failure at 4 years old.
Through medical care Nala’s skin issues have cleared up, no fleas, and she is eating soft canned food. Because of her heart condition a dental is not recommended for her. She will have to be on heart medication for the rest of her life.
Life has not been kind to Nala in her 4 short years.
Who wants to make a difference and love and care for Nala in the time she has left?

We are looking for a hospice foster/ forever foster for Nala. A quiet, calm home where Nala can rest and nap but know she is loved. She is a very low energy girl and a little timid. A home without small children or dogs would probably be best for her. All medications will be provided by the shelter. You just need to provide the love.
