Meet Nala
How has Nala been available since May 22ND with no interest?! She is an approximately 2 yr old female cat who became a Misfit when she and her newly born kittens were surrendered by her previous owners who couldn’t take care of them all. Nala is spayed, up to date on age appropriate vaccinations, and microchipped.
Unfortunately Nala and her babies were very sick and her two newborns did not survive, but Nala is doing fantastic and is ready to find her furever! She does have chronic sinusitis which makes her prone to upper respiratory infections. This is easily treated with antibiotics or antivirals.
She is shy but good with other cats and with proper introductions, would do well with dogs and children! Nala is the embodiment of calm and cuddly! All she wants is to spend the day chilling on or next to you while you’re watching tv, on your phone, or just relaxing on the couch! While she would get along with other pets, she craves all the attention and prefers not to share her favorite lap! She is definitely a homebody, but she still likes to play with wand toys! Her absolute FAVORITE thing to do is sit in the window and watch “kitty tv" as long as she’s allowed so we definitely recommend her new family have a window seat for her with a bird feeder outside! She’ll love you forever for it!
The best thing about Nala is her HUGS!!! She will snuggle up close and get under your chin (whether you’re ready or not lol) and make biscuits on either side of your neck and it’s the sweetest most adorable thing you will ever experience! Just make sure you keep her nails trimmed or her hugs will hurt a little! Nala is a sweet and wonderful girl. She will make an amazing addition to any family who takes her into their home!
