Myrtle's Story

Meet Myrtle
Age: 5 -6 months
Color: Gray Tabby

Myrtle is a beautiful young tabby girl with a curious heart and a playful spirit. She’s always up to something, whether it’s exploring a box, chasing after a toy, or finding fun in something she probably shouldn’t be playing with. Every day is an adventure for this little mischief-maker!

While Myrtle isn’t the most physically affectionate kitten, her love language shines through in her quality time. She loves to sit by your side on the couch, curl up at your feet while you sleep, or keep you company in the kitchen while you cook or do the dishes. She’s the perfect quiet little shadow and a loyal companion once she feels at home.

Myrtle would thrive best in a calm, low-energy household without children, as she can get overwhelmed by too much hustle and bustle. With her playful antics and steady companionship, she’ll make a wonderful match for someone looking for a sweet, independent, and devoted little friend.

All cats and kittens are vaccinated with FVRCP and Rabies if old and large enough for their vaccinations. All cats are neuter or spayed before final adoption date. All cats are also microchipped!

Our adoption process:
1) Fill out the adoption application at https://friendsofelines.org/adopt
2) Meet with the cat in their foster home
3) If you and the cat are a match then we will set a take home date 1-7 days after the meeting depending on schedules.

** We are not able to hold cats for a particular family longer than about 7 days, unless the cat is available for pre-adoption which will be noted on their profile. Please wait to apply until you are ready to take a cat home. **

We are a completely foster based nonprofit rescue run by volunteers. We do this work out of love.
