MURRAY's Story

Mr. Murray wandered into a man's garage one day, friendly as could be. The man didn't want a cat, but knew a person to contact who could find him a good home. So here he is!! When rescued, Mr. Murray needed some extra TLC, medication for an upper respiratory infection and a good ear cleaning. He's received all that and lots of love in foster, and he's turned out to be a great cat!! He does have a lot of energy, so a home with another cat or even a dog would be great for him! Murray has a funny habit of leaving his tongue stick out, which we think is absolutely adorable. Murray is neutered and has received initial vaccinations. He has tested NEGATIVE for FeLV/FIV and has received consistent flea treatment/deworming according to vet recommendations/protocols. Murray also has a microchip that can be registered and maintained for free.

Cats In Knead's Adoption Policy
*Please note-the location listed (Karns City) is our mailing address (required by PetFinder)...it is NOT the location of where the cat/kitten is fostered. Most of our cats/kittens are fostered in the Butler County area. Procedures: Potential adopters contact our organization via email or through social media messages. We are currently only operating a Facebook page at this time, until we can gain more volunteers who can help us expand our social media and website platform. An adoption application is sent to the interested adopter via email (Google link). Once the application is received back to Cats In Knead, it is reviewed by our Foster Coordinator. References are called, addresses are confirmed and the vet reference listed is contacted. If any of the responses do not align with our beliefs regarding adoption, or if false information is given, the application will be denied. If everything looks good on the application, the Foster Coordinator contacts the applicant and follows up with some simple questions, then coordinates a meet and greet with the foster and the potential adopter. After the meet and greet (which only occurs at the foster home), the potential adopter contacts the foster coordinator with their input regarding the visit. We reserve the right to conduct a home visit with the potential adopter at any time before, during or after the adoption process. If adopters are approved, they will also be required to review and sign a contract, which will be maintained by Cats In Knead.
