Meet Mr. Wright

My name is Mr. Wright. I think the shelter made a mistake, because they should have spelled it “Right”. I am a huge, ridiculously handsome, occasionally outgoing guy. If you are giving attention to someone other than me, I may find the need to sneak in on the action. I like to think of myself as a gentle giant—a big, handsome, gentle giant. I have done a pretty good job at getting along well with my roommates. Even though I am a big boy, I don’t feel the need to throw my weight around. I have some servants that have told me that my black coat is very slimming. They usually say this when they are trying to pick me up. I suppose this is a compliment. I have also been blessed with sprinkles of white hair throughout my black coat. One of the servants who cleans my room really seems to think the white sprinkles are extraordinary. She said it makes me unique.
If you admire me long enough, I may even talk to you. You will need to listen closely to hear me, because I am not going to scream my salutations. If you admire me multiple times, I will remember this, and immediately look for you as soon as I hear your voice. Once I get to know you well, I will expect complete devotion. I love attention so much, that I don’t care if two cats are sitting on your lap, I will find a way to make room, even if I have to lie on top of them. Some of the cats tell me that I act a little needy at times; I can’t deny this. I do genuinely crave attention from people who admire me. I have been told that I occasionally look cranky, but I am not. I have talked with the other cats about getting Botox to help with my brow line, but they tell me that someone will love me regardless. I would love to find human companions that enjoy sharing their laps with me, will brush my hair as often as I desire it, and treat me like the king that I am.

Mr. Wright is FIV+. FIV does not alter the longevity or quality of a cat’s life.
