Just some of the many nicknames bestowed upon this handsome man! Mr. Cheeks has been such a wonderful guest in his foster home!

When Cheeks first arrived, he was very scared. He ate in private, never made a peep and hid under furniture. As the days passed, his foster mom could tell he was interested in learning about the animals on the other side of his door. He would stretch his neck so long each time the door opened, trying to get a good look at the other kitties. Luckily, that curiosity was because he LOVES other cats! His introduction to everyone was just what every foster mom hopes for: "uneventful"! He was completely unphased by the four cats and one dog in the home. And from that introduction forward, Cheeks would cry at the door begging to come out and be with everyone! And after a few days of supervised socialization visits and having zero problems, he was left to free roam the house!

Since then, Cheeks has made amazing strides! Some of Cheeks favorite activities include lounging on a window bed looking at the deer and birds in the yard, exploring the house, playing with toys covered in catnip, eating wet food and spending quality time with his friends.

We REALLY mean it- this boy was meant to live in a home with kitty siblings. Cheeks is very respectful of their space and simply enjoys quality time with them. Sometimes the resident cats can be a little spicy towards him, but he just walks away (ain't nobody got time for that!)

Cheeks has come far with human interaction. When he first came to his foster, he would tremble when she was around him. And while still a bit shy, Cheeks hangs out in rooms with her now, allowing for pets and accepting love. We have all the confidence in him that with time and patience, he will continue to love the company of humans more and more. He needs someone patient that will let this beautiful boy blossom!

Though patience is key, we think you’ll be shocked at how quickly he will start to come around! He seeks the company of kitty friends, so cat siblings are a MUST! It will ensure his transition to his new home is as smooth as it can possibly be! And to the person who adopts this sweet soul, you are SO lucky. He is going to be a wonderful addition to the family. We know he will make you so happy!

Mr. Cheeks is neutered, flea treated, dewormed, microchipped and is FIV/FeLV negative!
