Meet Mr. Biggie Bones - in foster
Name: Biggie
Age: 17 years
Breed: Long-haired Tabby
Location: Currently in foster care
About Biggie:
Biggie is a sweet and resilient 17-year-old tabby who has lived quite the life, surviving for 15 years in a DOT parking lot. Despite his long, tough journey, Biggie has a heart full of love and a personality that shines through. After spending years with just an outdoor shelter and a kind soul who fed him, Biggie decided it was time for a change. One day, he jumped into a car and, without hesitation, made it clear he was ready for a new chapter--one inside, full of comfort and love.
Biggie's a survivor, and despite a chronic sinus condition he's currently being treated for, he's doing great. He's working with our wonderful vets to manage his health, but he doesn't let it slow him down too much. Biggie is still a playful spirit who loves to walk around in his own special way--backwards, like he's moonwalking straight out of a Michael Jackson music video.
He's a big fan of people, and there's nothing he loves more than a good rub! His fur was quite matted and had to be shaved but will grow back to its full glory! Whether it's a gentle pet along his back or a scratch behind the ears, Biggie's eyes light up with joy. This affectionate senior is looking for a home where he can finally be spoiled, relaxed, and given all the love he deserves after spending so much time outside.
Personality Traits:
Affectionate: Loves being around people and will happily accept all the petting and attention you can give.
Playful: Despite his age, Biggie has a playful streak, including his signature backward moonwalk!
Resilient: He's faced a lot in his life and comes out stronger for it. His journey has made him wise and full of character.
Chronic Sinus Condition: Currently under care with our vets, Biggie is doing well and will be treated before adoption.
Ideal Home:
A calm and loving household where he can enjoy his golden years in comfort.
Someone who enjoys giving rubs and is patient with his health needs.
A family that appreciates a unique cat with a quirky charm and a big heart.
Biggie is truly a special soul who just wants to be loved, and after 17 years, he's more than earned a life filled with warmth and care. Could you be the one to give him the peaceful home he deserves?

If you think you're the perfect fit for Biggie, please reach out to us for more information or to arrange a visit! This cat is waiting for it's Forever Home!
Email adoptions@ctcatconnection.org with a question or better yet, complete an application for quickest consideration. (Application: https://www.ctcatconnection.org/adoption-application/).
Please consider fostering a cat or dog by applying on our website.
A cat's behavior in the shelter is usually not what it will be like in your home; if the cat is nervous, anxious, or agitated, please know that a shelter is a very stressful place for a cat.
Kitten Policy: It is important to understand that the socialization of kittens with other animals as playmates is important for their development. Therefore, CT Cat Connection has a policy that kittens and teenagers up to 12 months of age are adopted in pairs unless there is another animal in the household as a playmate and companion.
Due to demand, we cannot place cats or kittens on hold. Your visit to the shelter is to meet any cat or kitten available for adoption at the time of visit.
If you or anyone you know is interested in helping the shelter, we are always looking for foster families of our cats and dogs, as well as in-person volunteers, to assist with animal care. Fill out an application, which can be found at https://www.ctcatconnection.org/get-involved/
