Goose came to Fuzzy Pawz Rescue with her flock, I mean litter, of six kittens. This lovely lady is did a great job raising her kittens, but is ready to life with an empty nest. When she first came to her foster home, Goose wanted nothing more than to nap. Now that her kittens are independent Goose has gotten some pep back in her step! She has zoomed around the house. She has found a few chew toys that she loves throwing around. She has even *gasp* played with other cats in the house!

While Goose does have a lot more energy than she did as a nursing mom, she still does get overwhelmed with a lot of movement and crowds. Most times she’ll just walk away and find a chill place to hang out. However, if she feels a someone is in her way of making an escape she will take a swat at them to give herself the opportunity to duck out. As such, Goose, will do best in a home that doesn’t host a lot of events or have children how might not realize when Goose is needing a break. In calm settings or with lots of open floor space, Goose absolutely loves meeting new people! As soon as everyone has shuffled in the door and found a place she will be rubbing up against everyone’s legs.

Goose is also a very smart cat and food oriented. When she first came to us from living on the streets she would knock over trash cans to get at empty food containers. Now, that she knows she doesn’t have to worry about where her next meal comes from she has adjusted well to twice daily feedings.
