Meet Moses

Moses is a great boy who was found by a wonderful gentleman before Easter in the desert. Moses was injured; attacked by a coyote or dog. He was bit on the face (hence the wonky ear, I think it makes him unique). He was also injured on the back end with bite marks which became infected. This wonderful man took him to the Vet got him all taken care and called us to rescue Moses. Which we did. Thanks to this man Moses is alive, healed up, gained weight and ready for his new home. We just can't understand how someone would dump a declawed wonderful and friendly boy.
Moses is a total lap cat, will cuddle up with you anytime and follow you around the house. He loves people so much. He site on my lap like a person sitting up and hangs over the arm of the couch. He loves canned food, Tiki Cat Mousse is his favorite. He lives with dogs and cats gets along fine. He does like to chase other kitties telling them he is in charge. Just a lot of noise no fighting though.
Moses does have something called Horners Syndrome on the left side of his face where he was bit. Its caused by a damaged nerve but it will get better just takes time. This is why his eye looks smaller, closed a bit and watery. I just wipe his eye and he allows me to do so. He is so forgiving and has so much love to give. If you correct him he has to get the last word in and will walk away snarling or growling, it's so funny. Also please DO NOT put a collar on him, when he was found he still had a small collar on which had pulled out his hair and cut his neck. He now hates things around his neck. He would do great on a harness going for walks. Whoever gets to adopt Moses is getting an awesome companion for life, best cat ever and bestest friend.
If you are interested in Moses please come and visit him at Petco on I-10 & Ray Rd on Saturdays from 11-3, call our hotline or message us through Petfinder and ask for his foster mom Monica.
