Meet Morty
Morty was a stray who was found with his friend Uncle Leo, trying to stay alive on the streets. Kind neighbours helped him, feeding and monitoring him until he could eventually be brought to the shelter. Morty has gained confidence since he first arrived at the shelter and happily welcomes pets from the volunteers. He is a gentle, sweet, and affectionate boy who tends to keep to himself, which unfortunately means he is often overlooked by visitors. Morty is about 9 years old and in good health. He eats well and uses his litter box.
Morty would do best in a calm, quiet home environment. He may do well with older children. Due to his past of being abandoned, Morty needs to go to an indoor only home where he can feel safe and protected.
