Meet Moose

Moose is a very sweet adolescent male black kitten with short hair, born on May 12, 2025. He has grown up with six siblings and six adopted siblings and gets along well with all of them. He is a tiny bit more shy than his siblings, but warms up quickly with play and treats. His hobbies include playing with feather toys, wrestling with his siblings, and taking naps. He will do well in a home with other cats or kittens. He has not been exposed to dogs or children, but kittens his age rapidly adapt to new situations if introduced correctly.

Moose has received his first year immunizations (including rabies), is microchipped, neutered, dewormed, and litter box trained. He is SPECIAL NEEDS. Moose has tested positive for feline leukemia virus (FeLV). This is a contagious immune system disorder, but cats with FeLV can live long lives. It is contagious only to other cats, so dogs, other pets, and people are immune.

As an altered kitten, his adoption fee is $200. There is a discount if he is adopted with another cat or kitten, and he would love to be adopted with one of his littermates. To learn more about Moose, please fill out the pre-adoption form located at the link below the available cats and kittens photos, then call his foster mom, Carol, in Wasilla at 907-355-3587.For general information, contact ACAT at 982-2228. Serious inquiries should complete ACAT's preadoption application found on the adoptables gallery page of our website.
