Moonpie is a beautiful 3-year old long-haired male cat. Moonpie takes a little while to trust new people, but once he trusts you, he will show you a lot of love and beg for head scratches. He needs an owner that can be patient with him and show him that not all people are scary. Moonpie loves head scratches, laying in cat tunnels, and cuddling with other cats. Moonpie just wants a home outside of the shelter and with a loving owner.

Moonpie does great with other cats. We are unsure how he does with dogs. He would currently do best in a home with no children, as he has been in the shelter most of his life and will take longer to adjust than other rescue cats.

**Moonpie urgently needs a home! He was recently diagnosed with feline IBD and requires a special diet. This means he cannot stay in our cat room with our other adoptable cats. Currently he has to stay in a small kennel. This is not a fair life to him and we are desperate to find him a home!

The standard adoption fee for a cat or kitten is $150, which covers rabies vaccination, at least one round of FVRCP and one round of feline leukemia vaccinations (if old enough) spay or neuter. All cats and kittens are altered prior to or at the time of adoption.
Here are a few of our adoption requirements: All adopters will be asked to fill out an application. Adopters must be at least 21 years old. Renters must show proof that they are allowed to have pets, such as a rental agreement. If there is a pet deposit, please show us the receipt that this has been paid.. Be prepared to take your pet home with you - bring a leash for all dogs, regardless of age or size (or a pet taxi for small puppies and dogs) and a pet taxi for all kittens and cats.
