Moonpie Domestic Short Hair & Tabby Mix Nacogdoches, TX

MOONPIE is around 5 years old and came to us from an NE Texas kill shelter, after her owner left her behind in a hotel. She has perfect litter box habits and likes dry food and treats. She doesn't care for canned food or tuna. She's a bit of a chunk at 12 pounds or so, and her fur is super thick! She may have a triple coat.

Moonpie enjoys being petted, especially on her head and face, and likes being brushed. She hasn't shown to be much of a lap cat yet, but we think it's because she is too busy following hands for pets to be still for laptime. She isn't aggressive at all and uses her voice to let you know when she's unhappy.

Her head and tail have calico colors and she's white in between with a black spot on her right rear foot/leg. She loves to sleep in a box and has a favorite catnip mouse she plays with. She loves to roam and check out her foster home.


She's just a funny girl who needs a family to love her.

MOONPIE is spayed, vaccinated, microchipped, and FELV/FIV negative. She is FRONT PAW DECLAWED. We think she will be fine with other cats if introduced properly.
