Cute little Mooch was born to an uncertain future on the streets of Mount Carmel. Against all odds and thanks to some local cat rescuers he survived to tell his tale.

Mooch was born in an alley late in the Summer of 2018. Sadly we don’t know what happened to the rest of his litter or his mother. They all disappeared over time. When his family was all gone he then lived under an old storage shed for a while as his rescuers fed him and hoped to socialize him, but Mooch kept his distance.

Then the arctic blast was on its way and his rescuers had no time to waste. They had to get Mooch to the safety of indoors even if it would be against his will.

Fast forward a bit and it seems like Mooch likes it indoors now all warm and comfy and safe. Mooch is described as very friendly, cuddly and affectionate once he gets to know you. Guess all those meals under the shed did pay off. He is currently making the acquaintance of other cats in his foster home.

Mooch has a pretty silver tabby coat and warm loving eyes. He has a "stocky" little body build and might we say a cute little smile on his face. While he was living outside he seemed to get along with other cats and even dogs. We were told that as a kitten he fearlessly tried to play with a couple of neighborhood dogs It seems he very much just wanted to make friends.
