Meet Monkey & Linden
MONKEY is a medium-haired floofer who arrived at our rescue with no social skills, terrified of everything around her. We hoped that putting another foster baby with her would help "teach her how to be a kitten," and it is working!
LINDEN, the short-haired cutie, has never met a stranger and was a complete lovebug from the beginning. Linden has demonstrated confidence, playfulness, and affection with humans (and dogs), and Monkey has observed that behavior and gradually begun to trust and join in.
Monkey now will scamper to her human and tap her with a big white poofy paw, asking for attention. She might not know exactly what to do once she gains that attention but she’s working on it. Each day she ventures further, trusts a bit stronger, tries a bit harder.
Foster sister Linden, on the other, hand loves absolutely everyone. She plays hard and purrs loud. Her foster family says she may be the greatest kitten they've ever met.
These precious girls have a beautiful story of the power of love and companionship, and they need a home together -- a somewhat quieter home with a family who will be patient, understanding, encouraging with Monkey’s continued growth, as well as ready to immediately engage in crazy play and cuddle time with sister Linden.
