Meet Molly! Molly is a four year old Domestic Short Hair. This poor girl came to us as a stray in extremely rough condition. It has taken almost an entire month of various treatments to get sweet Molly healthy enough to go up for adoption, but we've finally made it to that point! Molly is a very interesting gal - a bit of a dichotomy really. She loves, loves, loves attention but can get overstimulated by it quickly. She will rub against your legs but then get upset when you move them. She will want you to pet her, but only when conditions meet her approval. She rolls around on the ground trying to get your attention but then growls when you approach. Those who can read cat body signals will have no trouble avoiding her nips or swats, but cat novices will be baffled by her behavior. For the record, she has never hurt anyone and has been tolerant of being poked and prodded with endless shots and medications this entire time. She's even the favorite feline resident of several of the staff members. So she is perfectly tame and perfectly handleable. But she is unique and would only be fully appreciated by a certain type of adopter who is cat-savvy enough to understand how she's feeling and treat her accordingly. Molly has been through a lot and deserves to find a home where her sassy little tushy is spoiled rotten. Molly has been given her first round of vaccinations, been flea and tick treated, and tested negative for FIV/FeLV. So now that all of her infections have cleared up and some much needed weight has been gained, she's eager to get the heck outta here and find her forever home and family.
