Meet Mojo Jojo
DOB: 12/1/20
Mojo Jojo is a miracle kitty!!! We rescued him and his 2 sisters from the city shelter where they were about to be euthanized. Mojo's legs were completely stiff and he was unable to walk at all and we quickly realized that he had a condition called Cerebellar Hypoplasia (CH). In Mojo Jojo's case, he suffered from extremely severe CH as he was unable to walk at all. We spent months providing physical therapy and stimulation to try to get him to sit, crawl or even walk.
Fast forward and now Mojo is completely mobile. After spending his first year and half at our Nursery, Mojo needed more room to run around and stretch his legs, so he moved to a foster home where he quickly made friends with the resident cats. Any chance he gets, he loves to snuggle, wrestle and play with his kitty friends. He is the first cat in the kitchen when his foster mom prepares breakfast and dinner and no matter where he is in the house, he comes running when he hears the treats container opening. He loves dry and wet food and uses the litter box perfectly.
In the last 6 months since Mojo has been in his foster home, he has really blossomed. He comes up to his foster mom for pets and has just started getting on the bed. He has the cutest little trill for a meow and loves to watch the birds and squirrels from the living room window. Mojo is still a little shy and reserved around humans so would do best in a quiet home with at least one other kitty to help him continue to gain confidence, as well as a patient human who will let him be sociable on his terms.
