Moira's Story

Meet one of the Little Schitts, Moira!

Moira is the runt of the litter and was intially a bit skittish in new situations. After a few days of getting to know you, however, she turns into a purr machine, head butting your hands to ask for more pets. She is one of five kittens all named for characters in the show Schitt's Creek. (Her siblings are Alexis, David, Johnny, and Patrick.) Moira's foster now considers her a lap cat and has been surprised to have her jump right onto her back when she's cleaning. She's still not crazy about being picked up, but that may change as she grows accustomed to her humans.

Some of the things that Moira especially loves are perching on the top of the cat tree, playing with wand toys, and chasing her siblings. She also enjoys boxes and toy mice...whatever ya got!

The perfect forever home for beautiful Moira (check out her fantastic pictures!) would probably be a quieter home with a confident and friendly young resident cat. Of course, she would LOVE to be adopted with one of her favorite siblings like David or Johnny! She would probably do all right with older, cat-savvy children or possibly even a gentle dog as long as the introductions are handled correctly.

Check out all the Little Schitts, and apply to adopt Moira (and David or Johnny) today!

Apply at online application (catsfff.org/adopt)

View all of our adoptable cats here (catsfff.org/cats)

Our adoption fees are listed here (catsfff.org/adoption-fees)

Forever Fortunate Felines's Adoption Policy
Thank you for your interest in Forever Fortunate Felines. We are very happy to have the opportunity to match you with your purr-fect cat-panion! Once you complete the online application using the below link, you will be able to discuss and ask questions directly to the foster parent. We believe this is a big advantage to you as our organization is completely foster-based, we really understand our cat's personalities at a deep level. This helps to ensure a great match with you and your family. In order to get the process going, would you kindly fill out our detailed online application located here: https://www.foreverfortunatefelines.org/adopt Completing our online application does not commit you to adopt from our rescue. Rather it helps us to understand your requirements and match you with the best possible cat or kitten. Once you complete the application and it is approved, we can set up a meet and greet and if all works out, you may bring the kittens or cats home the same day. Please make sure to bring an adequately sized pet carrier with you to your meet and greet. We recommend a pet carrier that opens from the top as this is the easiest way to place a cat inside a carrier. If you do decide to adopt, we do expect you to take home your cat the same day as there are so many cats and kittens which need to be rescued from high kill shelters, we almost always rescue a new cat or kitten the very next day. If it is not possible for you to take your cat or kitten home the same day, we do charge a boarding fee of $10 per day for supplies and to encourage you to take your newly adopted cat home. We will board for a maximum of 3 days if needed to allow you time to get needed supplies. Our adoption fees are listed at the link below. This fee includes full vetting, flea treatment, de-worming, spay surgery, FeLV and FIV test, microchip insertion, and vaccinations up to date for the kittens or cats age. We are able to accept PayPal or most major credit cards for the adoption fee. Adoption Fees: http://foreverfortunatefelines.org/adoption-fees/ We have streamlined our adoption process to make it easy! Everything from the application to payment, to the contract is online. Additionally, all of the cat's records will be placed in your free Pet lovers account at petstablished.com to keep organized.
