What is Shreveport Bossier Animal Rescue’s adoption process?

Start by completing our adoption application. Applications can be submitted to our email - info@shreveportbossieranimalrescue.org - messaged to our Facebook page, or dropped off at our shelter. If you have current/previous pets, we check with your veterinarian to ensure that they receive appropriate care. We can also recommend a veterinarian if you are a new pet owner. If you rent, we need confirmation from your landlord that pets are allowed in your home. While we don't do same-day adoptions, our application process is quick and you should hear from one of our adoption volunteers within a day. When your application is approved, we will schedule a pick-up time for your new kitty! We always love to see photos of our SBAR kitties in their new homes!
