MEET MISTY!

Misty is a super sweet 14-year-old Himalayan who may or may not be a yeti-cat hybrid! She was surrendered to Philly's animal control shelter due to some health troubles her former family couldn't afford to address. As it turns out, Misty had a mouthful of painful teeth that needed to be addressed and she's feeling so much better these days. Now that she's healed up, she's ready to head to her forever home!

Misty adores the attention of humans and always wants to be where the people are. She’s very laid back and coexists with many cats of various temperaments currently. Don’t let her age fool you—she still has lots of pep in her step. She gets zoomies every once in a while, which is really adorable to watch. Some of her favorite things include: rolling around in catnip, napping on the couch, being incredibly good-looking, getting all the belly rubs, being brushed, and nomming on yummy wet food. She does have high blood pressure that is treated with daily medication, a heart murmur, and early-stage kidney disease, but she does not require prescription food at this stage. Misty would likely do well in any type of household since she is just happy to be loved. Whomever adopts this precious yeti-cat is winning the cat lottery!
