Meet Missy
FOSTERED IN: Chicago, IL 60618
ESTIMATED DOB: 2016-2017
COLOR/BREED: Gray Tabby Shorthair
GENDER: Female
KIDS: Likely
DOGS: Unknown
CATS: Yes
HISTORY:
Missy came from an open intake animal control facility. She was surrendered by her owner.
ABOUT:
Missy is an easy going adult cat with few demands. Missy is currently being fostered with a senior male cat. She is very friendly and respectful of him, but he’s older and will occasionally give her a swat (which she respects) if she tries to get him to play with her and he isn’t feeling it. Missy doesn’t insist on sitting on your lap or love to be carried around, but she’s tolerant if you need to pick her up. She loves to be near her foster mom, but doesn’t insist on being ON her. If she’s in a particularly affectionate or cuddly mood she will walk up to her foster mom and “chirp” for some love and attention. She is becoming more and more cuddly the longer she knows her foster home. She’ll even accept belly rubs if she is in a calm/relaxed state, but if she’s been playing/excited it might mean “game on.” Missy is an adult so she doesn’t have crazy kitten energy, but she’s still young and will need some daily playtime in her life. Her toy interests are well rounded and she enjoys, wands, laser pointers, balls, and mice. If nothing exciting is going on she loves to look out the window. Missy isn’t being fostered with any children, but she is a friendly cat so we think she would be agreeable to a home with children. She can occasionally be startled by loud noises and fast, unexpected movements so she would do best in a home on the less chaotic side. Missy is an agreeable cat who isn’t one to make a fuss. She’d be a great addition to many homes.
