Pleasure to meet you, my name is Miss Monroe. I am told I am named after a Hollywood Legend which suits me just fine, I am honored to be compared to such a beauty. Like my namesake, I have a big personality and a strong independent nature. I love to be the center of your attention, but only on my terms. Sometimes a girl just needs some space ok? Despite my occasional need for alone time, I do enjoy cuddling while watching a good movie and I do love to sleep in bed with my humans. Being the independent lady I am, I would prefer a home with no other pets. I’m a bit too sassy to get along with other cats and dogs are just scary, I can hold my own but I really would rather not have to deal with those slobber monsters. Speaking of slobber monsters, kids are ok I guess. I live with some littles in my foster home and I will tolerate them but I hate being picked up or held and I am not afraid to express my displeasure about it. Luckily they are good about knowing when I need some alone time and I really do enjoy their company at the end of the day.

Enough about all that, lets talk about fun things, like toys! I love to play! I love glitter balls, crinkle balls, little stuffed toys, cat nip toys!!! and my turbo scratcher! I am a pretty active girl so I like to have a lot of toys to chase and bat around! I love string toys, anything fun to chase, I just can’t resist. Cat scratching posts are a must for me. I love to use them but sometimes I get soooo excited I forget but don’t worry, if you just remind me by redirecting me to the scratcher, I will happily oblige. OH OH OH ALSO!!!! I really love to climb up high and survey my kingdom, so a home with a lot of high spots for me to perch would be my dream. If you look at my pictures you will see me up high on my pride rock! I look gorgeous right? Just like a Queen! I love to be up high, where everyone can see me and how stunning I am. The only thing better would be a window spot way up high for me to gaze out. I know I know, I sound like your stereotypical cat here but have you ever basked in the sun in front of a big window? No? You don’t know what you’re missing! I suggest you give it a try, maybe we could give it a try together?
