Meet Minka
Minka was brought to the shelter after she was found living as a stray. She is estimated to be about 2 years old. When Minka arrived at the shelter, she had a very swollen, lower jaw, She was taken to the vet, who said that the swelling was an autoimmune response. Minka was given medication and the swelling soon went down. The vet said it may be a reoccurring issue, but it is easily treatable and is less likely to happen once she is in a stable environment. Minka is such a sweet girl though! She loves attention from people and is very affectionate toward them. Minka is also super friendly so she should do well with children and other animals. She is now in need of a loving home!
