Minji is a 7-year-old, cuddly cat looking for her forever home!

Minji does not know she is 19 lbs so she will climb on you to cuddle like she's a tiny kitten. Don't let her grumpy face fool you. She is a lovebug through and through.

Minji's weight limits her playtime at the moment. But! She loves to slap her paw on any moving target that's within her reach, so I bet she'll chase with the best of them once she loses a few more pounds. She mostly cuddles, lays in the sun, and then cuddles with you some more.

Minji loves wand toys and will even chase a crinkle ball if she's extra motivated. She isn't limited in mobility anymore now that she's lost some weight and gained muscle. She can leap up onto a bed or couch but she isn't as interested in a toy if it means walking over to it.

Minji is currently living with one human and 3 young adult resident cats. She mostly ignores the other cats but can get territorial. She is never aggressive but she gets agitated when other cats are in her space.

Minji's ideal home would be one where there is typically someone home to cuddle and pet her. She would do well in a home with a dog but a cat might be tough. The cat would have to be a bit of a loner and doesn't take up her human's attention.

Minji is doing well on her weight loss food and will need someone that will keep her on a strict diet. She's lost 2 lbs but will need to lose an additional 6 lbs over the next year to be a healthy weight. Minji does not beg for food and does well without treats or extra meals. She wants attention more than food so if you play and cuddle her, she will be super happy!

All cats have received comprehensive veterinary care and tested negative for feline leukemia and FIV unless otherwise stated. Cats are up-to-date on age-appropriate vaccinations and have been spayed/neutered, treated for fleas and/or ear mites, de-wormed, and microchipped. Please note there may be additional follow up visits and boosters that are not covered by Pet Haven after adoption.
