Mindy is an incredibly affectionate and playful cat all wrapped up in one adorable little package. She enjoys a good balance of lounging and playtime and is always up for pets and scratches or a round with her favorite toys. Mindy loves being carried around and she really loves cuddling — she’s happiest when she’s close to her people. She would especially love a home where she can snuggle up and keep her humans warm at night.<br/><br/>Mindy gets along extremely well with other cats and needs to have a feline companion. She’s especially fond of her sister, Princess, and they would be so happy to be adopted together. She loves to play chase and zoom around with cat friends. It’s not contagious. It comes and goes, and does not seem to bother her. <br/><br/>She is an FIP Survivor. She received 84 days of antiviral injections and passed an additional 84 day observation period. FIP is a mutation of feline coronavirus that can happen in some cats who have lower immune systems or who have a genetic predisposition. There is no continued care required after treatment. Most cats have been exposed to feline coronavirus and only a small percentage will experience a mutation.
