Mina Domestic Medium Hair Shorewood, IL

This beautiful fluffy lady is Mina. She had a very rough start to her life. After all the hardships she had been through and being in a shelter, Mina was understandably beyond upset and angry. She shut down and became combative with staff. It was heartbreaking.

With lots of help from special squeeze up cat treats and a good back scratcher, we started to see improvement. After a while, we were able to safely move her to a foster home, where she is flourishing!

Mina is a love bug- she wants to roll on and cuddle you, whether that's on your lap or on your face! She doesn't have personal space in her vocabulary. She adores attention and treats. She began playing and getting the zoomies, too. She will happily steal things (toys or not) and carry them around. She even plays fetch! Mina is very curious and if bored will explore wherever she can. She'd benefit from having a home to run around in and plenty of toys to keep her busy. She's very vocal; always chatting and purring.

Mina will need a patient and calm home, without other cats, dogs, or kids. It would be great to have someone who understands when she's getting too riled up and can continue to help her feel loved and safe.
