PLEASE NOTE -Sunny Sky’s Rescue is open to preapproved applicants for our dogs and cats on Wednesdays from 12-4pm and Saturdays from 12-4pm. Although our shelter will once again be open we are still following Covid-19 precautions. All visitors are asked to wear a facemask and observe social distancing. In order to have a meet and greet a preapproved application is required.*

We are still making changes to our application process and at this time we are only allowing pre-approved applicants to have formal meet and greets with the pets available for adoption. We strongly recommend visitors fill out the adoption application prior to visiting.

Mimi has just completed raising three beautiful daughters. She arrived at our shelter with Instinct, Valor, and Mystic need additional medical help. But that didn't stop Mimi from loving on and being a great Mom. They had a difficult beginning but will all surely have a great new chapter in their lives. Mimi is a beautiful one year old satin black kitty. She has developed a very close bond her her kitten Instinct. They love to cuddle together and are friends as well as Mom and daughter. Mimi can't wait to meet her new forever family. She as well as Instinct would do best in a home without small children. Mimi's DOB is 11/20/19.

The adoption fee for a cat is $109 and includes spay/neuter, Microchip, pyrantel deworming, Frontline flea treatment, testing for feline leukemia/FIV, and routine vaccinations (excluding rabies).

Our adoption process has changed during this time and we will be processing applications before having potential adopters meet the animals, this way we will be able to match families with their forever pets. You will have an opportunity on the application to let us know what type of pet you are looking for.

Although you cannot request a specific dog or cat the preapproval will give you access to a meet and greet with the group of dogs or cats your application matches you with. This is the first step at finding your special new family member! Please note preapproval applications are online only – there are no paper applications available on site. You will be notified in 7 business days of your preapproval status.
