Meet Milo
Meet Milo:
If you love sweet stripy big boys, then Milo is your guy! He was found early this year when it was bitter cold, looking very thin and he was very hungry. This friendly boy was in our infirmary for awhile to be treated for a few issues that needed attention and was scratching so badly from fleas, he had to have his back area shaved and treated. Finally he is now in our Yellow Room where he has room to stretch his big bod. His age is estimated to be 3-5 years old and he tested positive for FIV*.
*A note about FIV. FIV is not transmittable to humans in any way. It is transmitted among cats through a deep, penetrating bite. Most cats with FIV are asymptomatic, need no medication, and can live long full lives with the same risk of illnesses as any other cat. If they get a sniffle or infection, they need immediate vet care because of their weaker immune systems, but this does not necessarily shorten their lives.
PLEASE DO NOT use the Petfinder Adopt Me application because we require more information. Instead please use our online application request form only on our ADOPT page on our website:

Call us at 860-669-1347 for more information or to speak with an adoption team member.
NOTE: You should receive an automatic reply email when you apply online. If you do not receive one, please resubmit your application (sorry- there are sometimes glitches when applying from a mobile device!!). In cases where a requested cat or kitten gets adopted before we get to your application, please let us know if you are open to adopt any other cat or kitten, otherwise your application is not processed. Thanks!!!
