Michael is an adult, neutered male cat, probably born in 2013. He is our resident "project" cat - a battered, tattered, beat up boy with a big round head and a chip on his shoulder. He was a pound rescue and appeared to be pretty feral and frightened at first, although he loved cheek and head skritches with the famous bamboo backscratcher. He started to accept hands petting him and was doing really well with it. He is currently in a foster home & doing well. He will never be comfortable with a lot of noise and commotion, but in a quiet home that will be patient with him, he will be a very sweet companion. He wants love and pets, he's just spent too many years having to be paranoid. Michael has FIV, a viral disease that effects the immune system, so he does need a little extra awareness if he gets under the weather.
