Mia is a timid girl who is learning to trust people. She has had a tough go of it in her short little life. Mia and her brother were found by a Good Samaritan on the highway after their mother was killed by a car. They were taken to a "foster" who ended up putting them in a city shelter instead of taking care of them. After spending so much time in this loud and chaotic environment, Mia is understandably nervous. She really is a sweet girl, and once she trusts her environment her personality starts to show. Her brother has been adopted, and now all she needs is for you to give her a safe and secure forever home! Mia needs a family who will be patient with her while she learns that she is now safe with her forever family and will not be put through anymore chaos. She deserves the best life after all she has been through!!
Mia is great with cats. She's never met a dog, but with slow introductions to a well-behaved dog who is not too rambunctious for her, we think they would love a new pup pal.
Mia is currently ~10 months old, fixed, microchipped, up to date on age-appropriate vaccines, and in great health! She does a great job of keeping her litterbox tidy. All she needs now is a forever home!
Mia would thrive in a home with another cat or kitten! Priority will be given to applicants interested in adopting a pair of kittens or who have patient, playful resident cats or dogs at home. Information on why adopting two kittens together is best for their short- and long-term health and behavior can be found here:
