Hi, my name is Merry -- and I really live up to my name. I was the very first kitten in my litter to start purring in foster care, and once I start, I don't stop! Sometimes all you have to do is look at me and the motor starts running. I'm a happy little soul with a gentle spirit and an open heart. My sister Milk and I are a bonded pair.<br/>I'm a short-haired gray tabby with a sleek, low-maintenance coat that's as easy to care for as can be. I'm a little timid at first, but I truly want to love and be loved. Once I trust you, I melt right into pets and topple over foolishly when you scratch my neck.<br/>I'm still a bit awkward about being picked up (I'm not quite sure what to do with my paws yet!). I'm quiet and well-mannered -- I made almost no noise at all in foster care -- and I'm fully litter box trained.<br/>I haven't met dogs or kids yet, but I'd probably do fine with gentle introductions. The best way to my heart is simple: give me a little time to decompress, some playtime and food, and then all the gentle pets you have to offer.
