Merrick

Merrick is one of four boys (dubbed the Vampire boys but not because they bite!) that were born in the wild and fixed through a rescue group. When the owner went to put them back out, he realized that it was too dangerous for them to be outside. The mom had already been killed by coyote. So he kept them in a cage together for over a month. Unfortunately, he did not love on them very much and so they have taken a little bit of time to adjust to being held. But once he warms to you.. ... (Give him a few days), he will be purring and loving all of your attention. He's very happy hanging out with his brother Lasher. He is very inquisitive and a loud purr. Also, he likes to lick you Lasher and Merrick feel safer together, but would also be OK with other cats in a home.. He asked that you never put him back in the cage again! He is also OK with small dogs.
