Merlot and Syrah Domestic Long Hair Mix Bellingham, WA

Hi, our names are Syrah and Merlot! We are PURPLE pawprints, which means we will fit well into a home that meets some specific criteria. Here is what would work best for us in our new home:

-Personality: Shy in the shelter environment, independent, will likely be whole different cats once they've had time to adjust
-Can Live with Cats: Yes, Syrah is bonded to his brother, Merlot, and it is required they be adopted as a pair. Introductions with any resident cats will need to be slow and structured to ensure everyone gets along.
-Can Live with Dogs: Unknown history - may be okay with a calm cat-friendly dog pending a proper introduction. No rough/rowdy dogs, please!
-Can Live with Kids: May be okay with older teenagers (ie. 13 years+), but no young kids.
-Needs Indoor Only Home: Yes
-History of Litter Box Issues: No
-Energy Level: Medium
-Bite History: No
-Needs Medical Procedure Before Going Home: No

Syrah and Merlot are a bonded pair of brothers looking for a nice quiet home to call their own. They're both quite shy and shutdown in the shelter environment, but will likely be entirely different cats once they've had some time to adjust to their new home. As mentioned before, Syrah and Merlot's ideal home is a QUIET one with one or two adults. They may need some extra time to decompress, but we think they'll be much more affectionate and social once they're used to their surroundings.
