Meet Merlo

Merlo is a beautiful black cat, in a shelter full of beautiful black cats. She has to sport a collar so we can tell her apart from her black roommates... she enjoys taking it off and leaving it somewhere in the room for us to find.

Merlo is young and has no known health concerns. She could stand to lose a bit of weight, but once she is in a home with her food bowl to herself, her diet could be managed.

We had Merlo surrendered to us because she wasn't affectionate enough for her person, but in a home where she is free to love and be loved as she is, we believe she would thrive.

Merlo doesn't need to have a cat companion (and in fact she was not a fan of the new kitten brought into her previous home), but we think that with the right feline friend she might be okay, as she coexists in her room without incident with the other cats.
