Merida Domestic Short Hair Oswego, NY

Merida has a spirit as wild as a wisp. She loves to be pet, but on her terms: she doesn't want to be picked up. An interesting trait for a kitten, to be sure, but if you have any scritches, pats or rubs to spare then Merida will want them all.

She is playfully interactive too! Merida loves to hunt and chase a laser pointer, a feather wand or worm toy. She is an avid birder and loves sitting in windows, especially if there are bird feeders around. She's a good mouser and catches bugs around the home too.

Merida is a very sweet girl and it will just take a little longer for her to come out of her shell. She gets along with other cats, and would be OK as an only-cat too. She loves to rough-house play around with the resident dog in her foster home and easily stands up for herself.

Merida is about 11 months old, spayed and vaccinated. She is indoor only and has tested negative for FeLV/FIV. The adoption fee is $125.
