Meet Meribel! Sweet, friendly, and companionable, Meribel is ready for her home.

This sweet gal was dumped earlier this year at our facility. Despite not truly knowing her origin story, Meribel is as delightful as can be. She quickly showed how grateful she was to be safe indoors.

Meribel can often be found lounging around and keeping things pretty chill. She enjoys playtime and of course, zips around during zoomie time. She also enjoys her naps and cuddles whether with you or off on her own. The quickest way to her heart is probably snack time though and we can understand that. She enjoys watching her cat tv through the windows and is always down for belly rubs. She will purr the moment you touch her and she is comfy! Her foster mama says that she is truly the most gentle cat they’ve ever known. Despite Meribel being a tortie, this girl has minimal amounts of that tortitude.

This sweet gal can be very vocal when she can’t find you. While she appreciates belly rubs, she does not enjoy being approached from the back of her head and she will give you a gentle love nip.

She has children experience and is excellent about finding alone time if things get too hectic, never swiping at anyone.

Her foster’s favorite thing about Meribel is her gentle nature. While she came from less than ideal circumstances, it’s remarkable that she is still so loving and willing to trust again. Your heart will melt when she shows you her belly for the first time.

Initially shy, she warms up quickly - especially if treats are involved!
