MERCEDES Domestic Short Hair Mix Muskegon, MI

MERCEDES first came as a kitten in 07/2021 and had been adopted as a kitten in September 2021. Recently, MERCEDES developed adjustment issues in her home and was returned. Sometimes, something happens in the environment of a home and cats react in strange ways. In MERCEDES' case, she had a serious UTI and had urinated outside her box. After the infection was cleared up, she was still drawn to one spot. The owner tried everything recommended, but nothing worked, and she was forced to bring MERCEDES.

Since MERCEDES has been back, she is using the litterbox with no problem. There was, apparently just something about that spot in her old home. MERCEDES is a sweet, affectionate, petite girl with a purr and a headbutt for anyone near her. She is nervous about her roomies, but hopefully, will adjust. She had little or no experience with other cats, dogs, or children. She has a sweet disposition though and would probably be ok in a quiet home with a non-aggressive cat or dog and with children old enough to understand that she will probably not be a playmate.
