McSteamy... Black & White Domestic shorthair; born in May 2015. 8 years old as of May 2023.

McSteamy and McDreamy came to WPR after being rescued from CBHS in late June 2015. They are not brothers but have grown up since they were kittens together and think they are brothers. It is required they get adopted into the same home. They get along beautifully and snuggle and love each other up!

UPDATE: 3/13/16... McDreamy & McSteamy moved to a new foster home a couple of months ago, and they are BEST BUDDIES. They also lived in a foster home with two Shitzu's and a Golden Lab, and several other kitties, so if you are looking for a DOG FRIENDLY KITTY or KITTIES to add to your clan - look no further than these two sweet boys!

McSteamy (black nose)- very shy boy. He is quite independent and does not look for attention from his foster mom, however, you can always find him curled up with one of the other cats in the house or near one of the dogs. He is a kitten at heart and loves to play with toys!!

McDreamy (pink nose)- he is the sweetest boy once he gets to know you, his fur is super soft like a bunny rabbit! He is super lovey dovey... if I sit down he is right up in my lap rubbing all over me. He likes all the other cats and dogs in the house as well... but prefers human companionship! Funny how you can raise two cats together and have them end up total opposite personalty of each other. He does often nap curled up with his brother... which is just too cute for words!

2/14/20 UPDATE: Both these sweet boys start off very shy and skittish. They will need a home willing to give them time to settle in. Probably several weeks to a couple of months. Once they get to know you, McDreamy is the friendlier of the two and not as shy. McSteamy is a love once he completely trusts you but that takes a lot of time. If there is a loud noise or someone comes over, he is going to hide and then come out later once he knows all is safe and ok. They just need a true cat person that understands this and accepts them for who they are.

3/10/21 McSteamy and McDreamy went to a new foster home in 2019. They took a long time to trust their new foster mom but they are so worth the wait. They are both sweet boys and love attention now. McSteamy is the more shy one and McDreamy is more outgoing. Both were obese from their previous foster home over-feeding them. Good news is that they both have slowly lost weight and are at a healthy weight now! Proper food amounts is important along with play with turns into exercise. McDreamy now weighs 11.8 lbs. and McSteamy is 11.08 lbs. These are great weights for them!

McSteamy's and McDreamy's adoption fee is $95.00 each adoption fee for a total of $190 for both cats. He is completely vetted... he has had wellness checkups, two FVRCP vaccinations, his rabies vaccination, and is neutered. He was also tested for Feline Leukemia and FIV and is negative for both.
