MCNUGGET Domestic Long Hair Brazil, IN

MCNUGGET is a 3 year old domestic long hair taken in as a lost cat on 5/9/23. Unfortunately, the farm she wandered onto has chickens and she partook, otherwise she could have remained there. While McNugget loves chicken, she is not a huge fan of people, which is one of the reasons it's taken so long to get her photos up and her story posted. It's hard to present an animal who doesn't want to be seen and who has no interest in getting to know you. To add to this drama, McNugget escaped into the attic at the shelter this week. Once we trapped her, we confined her to one of the kennels and got a few photos. As you can see, McNugget is gorgeous! She's not a mean girl, she simply reserves the right to be petted with your eyes, not your hands, She gets along with other cats to the extent that she's coexisted with multiple cats in the free roam here for a couple of months now. But even with them, McNugget keeps to herself. Due to her independence, she's best suited as a working cat on a farm WITHOUT chickens. While she isn't a cuddle bug, she is McNugget worthy. You might even try making friends with her by bringing a McNugget or KFC drumstick with you. Her adoption fee is $70 and helps cover the cost of her spay, vaccinations, worming, monthly flea and heart worm preventive, microchip and care while at CCHS.
