Meet Maya
Maya needs a quiet, adult only home with a cat savvy adopter.
Six month old Maya and her siblings Molly & Mack were recently taken into foster after ringworm treatment at the shelter. Now ringworm free the kittens are learning to trust their foster mom. Maya is the most shy and timid but she is coming around. She is a sweet girl that needs love and lots of patience.
Maya’s favorite thing to do is play! She loves chasing the wand toy and exploring the house. She is a very curious girl and enjoys the companionship of other cats.
When it’s time for affection she can shy away but she has recently started seeking it out. It’s adorable seeing her seek attention as she will pat your hand with her paw or nod her head.
Maya gets nervous around strangers and will run when reaching for her. She is uncomfortable being picked up and held but foster mom is working with her and she is showing improvement. In the right environment Maya will continue to thrive. It’s recommended that she go to a home that has a friendly kitty that she can bond with or perhaps one of her siblings.
