Maximus aka "Max" Domestic Medium Hair Anoka, MN

Max’s story began on a college campus where he was approaching students begging for food until one of the students impulsively took him home. He was underweight and dirty, starved for food and attention. Sadly, she couldn’t keep him but knew someone who could foster him until he found a perfect home.



Maximus is estimated to be about a year old. He’s well behaved, uses the litter box flawlessly, and grooms himself well. He does great with nail trims and being picked up. He is intelligent and listens well, so he is quickly learning commands. He is already tall and probably still growing. He loves to eat and has reached a healthy 15 pounds. He has a soft and beautiful medium length orange and white coat with an amazing fluffy tail and gold colored eyes. He is sweet, friendly, affectionate, and playful. He sometimes has the excitement level and clumsiness of a puppy dog. He has already formed a strong bond with his foster mom and follows her everywhere. He has his own basket on the bathroom counter that he runs to every time his foster mom goes in there. He curls up in his basket and begs for pets and kisses while she gets ready in the morning. He is happiest when his human is close, but he can quickly become overstimulated with too much touching/petting, so he will need a human who can read his body language and tell when he’s had enough. Like most cats, he enjoys high perches and scratching posts. His quirkiest personality trait is stealing adhesive tape from the trash and trying to eat it. He is the most adorable when he’s chasing his favorite ball, or sleeping in funny positions.



Max doesn’t like being alone so he needs a home with a kitten or friendly adult cat(s) for companionship. He’s not too sure about dogs.

All kitties are completely vetted, which includes feluk/fiv testing, deworming, age appropriate vaccines and spay or neuter.
