Max (bonded with Violet)'s Story

**NOTE: All AVA kittens under 12 months of age MUST be adopted in pairs or to a home with another young cat. AVA does not accept applications for single kittens**

***Max and Morty are related somehow, as they came from the same colony, but Violet the older foster sister completes the circle of the three mouseketeers nicely. If they cannot stay together as a trio, then Max is Violet’s support cast and ever ready play buddy, and they must go home together.

Max is an energetic kitten with boundless curiosity and an endless love for play and pouncing. Whether he’s chasing after a crinkly toy, leaping off furniture with kitten-sized bravado, or ambushing a rolling ball, Max brings joy and chaos in equal measures wherever he lands. But when playtime winds down, this little bundle of energy turns into a total sweetheart — jumping into laps for cuddles, nuzzling into your chest, and filling the room with his loud purrs.

Max is bold, loving, and always ready to share his playful heart but not his food! This little boy loves to eat and will never turn down a treat! He has good litter box habits to complete the whole gentlecat package, and is eager to find his forever family with Violet in tow as his personal groomer and cuddle buddy, so he can sprinkle his magical orange charm liberally all around.

Max was fostered in a home with two small dogs, and although he prefers to play with his kitty friends, he was not averse to sharing a snooze with them on the same couch. This brave little cat is ready whenever you are!

Would you like to make Max and Violet a part of your family? Please complete our online application found at: https://www.avacats.org/adoption-application-form.

Our adoption fees cover vetting and include spay/neuter, age appropriate vaccines (initial FVRCP and rabies), flea treatment, two dewormings and microchipping.

Adoption fees are $275 for each kitten up to 12 months old. Please note that fees may apply for additional required vaccinations (at $75 per booster) due prior to adoption. Total adoption fees will be confirmed by the AVA Adoption Coordinator.

All AVA kittens 12 months or younger must be adopted in pairs or go to a home with another young cat (3 years or younger). Kittens learn from each other how to behave, which helps them turn into well-adjusted adult cats. In general, paired cats have happier and healthier lives because they have a constant companion and playmate. Plus, it's twice the fun for you, and half the work!
